I am always looking for sculptors to bring this stuff into the real world. If you can do that, and would like to split costs, whatever, however, let me know!

Monk I by mcthfg
I'm going to do a mold of this guy shortly, and a limited edition run. Hooray!

I've been working on this character, codenamed "Steve" (codenames? That's freakin' right!) for a while now. I finally took the plunge and bought some modeling clay (Roma Plastina No. 1), and did him up. LOTS more work to do, but he's starting out ok...

An idea that I've been kicking around - a brick house (like the song!) with a door, a few windows, a little cartooney - that you could grafitti yourself. Kick ass? I do believe so. These are just mockups of the idea. New edition shortly.

Got an email from a great sculpter - Sculpturalmyth - about getting the dunny/munny lines made.

Here's a new idea from a sketch -

munny #1 by mcthfg (recycled) 03/09/09

First munny attempt. Used masking tape, and painted with Golden Fluid Acrylics. Lots of bleed on the tape. Better tape? Hard to get the black paint out of the GID - should use a gray first, and double with black.

munny #2 by mcthfg (offspring of munny #1) 03/11/09

ethernet cable housing, stripped. Cable ends as eyes. I've got a few more things to do on this one - going to look for glue tomorrow, and glue some yellow rings to his head. Also adjust the cabling, maybe cut a tighter-fitting set.
