10/15/06 Terms and Conditions

Because of a problem with a recent client, I feel obligated to include this bit of info.

Payment is due postmarked no later than 1 week (7 days) from date of invoice. Invoices are delivered in PDF format via email. Any failure to pay invoice in said amount of time (without prior agreement) will initiate an 18% late fee, compounded weekly.

I am always open to negotiation on these terms, but feel I must stress them, as a recent client has taken advantage of our previous "timely pay" policy.

Also, a word of advice to prospective clients...

If you are selling a design product to a client (website, multimedia app, etc.), know what you are selling. If you do not understand the difference between javascript and DHTML, don't sell either one without consulting someone who does. If you are a designer building web pages, know a little bit about the restrictions of website coding, and how you can make reassembling your design in HTML easy for the coder.

If everyone helps out, design can be a fun, inexpensive, magical journey for everyone. If not, it wastes your time and money.
